 Internet history

The Internet we use today had its emergence by chance. It was created during the Cold War under the name of ArphaNet to carry out the communication of US military bases, even if the Pentagon was completely destroyed by a nuclear attack.

When the threat of the Cold War ended, ArphaNet became useless. The military no longer considered her as important to keep her safe. Access was thus allowed to scientists who ceded the network to universities which, successively, passed it on to universities in other countries, allowing domestic researchers to develop it, until more than 5.5 million people were already connected to the network and , for each new user, 4 more were connected to the immense worldwide communication network.

Nowadays, it is no longer a luxury or a matter of choice for a person to use and master the services available on the Internet, as it is considered the greatest communication system developed by man.

With the emergence of www, this medium was enriched. The web content became more attractive with the possibility of adding images and sounds. A new file location system created an environment in which each piece of information has a unique address and can be found by any user on the network.

Basically, the Internet is a set of interconnected computer networks that have a set of protocols and functions in common, so that users who are  connected can enjoy worldwide information and communication services.

The evolution of the internet originated a great revolution in terms of content sharing. The speed and ease with which we have access is such that it is instantaneous.

It is clear that in all this there are not only wonders. There are dangers such as invasions of personal areas, leakage of information, among other things.

This is certainly not why we should stop surfing the web, we can very well access it without fear of being stolen or invaded. All this danger is considered an "urban legend", many of these cases that we heard about were passed on from friend to friend etc, we shouldn't isolate ourselves because of that.
